Principal Computer Vision Engineer at Varjo

Jussi T. Lindgren's work experience includes roles at various companies and institutions. At Varjo, they worked as a Principal Computer Vision Engineer starting in December 2018. Prior to that, they were a Research Engineer at INRIA from December 2012 to December 2018, where they worked on the OpenViBE software platform for Brain-Computer Interfaces. From September 2008 to November 2012, they worked as a Research Engineer at Virtual Air Guitar Company Oy, focusing on real-time full-body tracking and player gesture recognition. Jussi also had a research position at the University of Helsinki from September 2002 to December 2008, where they conducted exploratory research in Machine Learning, Computational Vision, and Neuroinformatics, co-authoring several academic papers. Jussi T. also served as a part-time teaching assistant at the University from January 2005 to May 2008.

Jussi T. Lindgren obtained an M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Helsinki from 1996 to 2002. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from the same university, completing it between 2004 and 2008.
