Cailen McQuattie

Cailen McQuattie has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Cailen started their career at Shaw Cable as an Installer Technician, where they gained experience troubleshooting network issues and providing customer service. Cailen then moved on to roles at Trinity Frosh Week 2009, serving as the Chair, and at KMSM as a Partner, where they designed and built user-friendly websites and tools for various clients.

In 2008, Cailen became the Publisher and Editor in Chief of Salacious Sound, a music publication. Cailen held this position until 2012 when they joined Pattison Outdoor - Fourthwall Media as a Senior Developer. During their time there, they worked on developing media solutions.

In 2017, Cailen joined N-Dimension Cybersecurity as a Senior Software Engineer, where they focused on managing cybersecurity for critical energy infrastructure. Cailen designed and built ML multi-step attack identification algorithms and software, as well as web-based cybersecurity event analysis tools and intrusion detection software.

Cailen then progressed to the role of Director, Engineering at N-Dimension Cybersecurity, before being promoted to VP, Engineering. In this role, they led the company's cybersecurity and attack surface management efforts for OT/SCADA environments, leading the company to a successful exit in 2018.

Currently, Cailen is working at vArmour as a Senior Staff Engineer and Chief Architect.

Cailen McQuattie completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Joint Specialist in Economics and Political Science from the University of Toronto, from 2007 to 2011.
