Per Buer currently serves as the Head of Strategy and Innovation at Varnish Software since December 2024, focusing on business development across the organization. Prior to this role, Per was the Chief Information Officer at Celerway Communication from February 2021 to November 2024, overseeing cloud software and infrastructure for advanced 4G/5G router applications. Previous experience includes positions as Principal Engineer at Knowit, CEO of IncludeOS, and various roles at Varnish Software Group including founder and CTO. Per also held management positions at Redpill Linpro and Linpro AS, and began as an independent web developer after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Oslo between 1996 and 2000.
