Megan Fritz, PhD, currently serves as User Research Lead at Varo Bank, focusing on making financial well-being accessible through impactful research. Previously, as Lead UX Researcher at Chief, Megan developed an organizational user research strategy that significantly improved member retention by 65% and user satisfaction by 22%, contributing over $20 million in annual recurring revenue. During the tenure as Interim Director of Research, strategic influence was exerted on executive leadership to shape company-level objectives. At BetterUp, Megan scaled the research team and improved product alignment with user needs. Earlier roles included Research Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh and various positions in clinical research and therapy.
