Guy Shamilov

Guy Shamilov, CISSP has extensive experience in the field of information security. Guy served as the Chief Information Security Officer at Varonis starting in 2017. Prior to that, they held the same role at Tata Consultancy Services from 2016 to 2017, where they were responsible for all information security aspects within the company, including the development and implementation of Core Banking infrastructure and security architecture. Guy also managed a team of over 20 cyber security experts and analysts.

Before joining Tata Consultancy Services, Guy worked as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at Traiana from 2014 to 2016, where they established information security policies and procedures and directed the development of security hardening plans using ISO 27001/2 and NIST standards.

Prior to that, Guy was the Information Security Manager at Logic Industries from 2010 to 2014, where they managed a team of technical information security experts and implemented information security policies and procedures based on global standards. Guy also led the planning of network and security infrastructures for both production and corporate environments.

Guy's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Information Security Specialist at Migdal Group from 2008 to 2010, where they were responsible for the technical deployment of information security solutions, and as an Information Security and System Administrator at Matrix from 2005 to 2008, where they formulated and executed corporate policies and ensured secure connectivity.

Throughout their career, Guy has demonstrated expertise in various areas of information security, including managing security operations centers, conducting internal and external security audits, and leading incident response and risk assessment initiatives. Guy is well-versed in industry standards and best practices such as PCI DSS and ISO/IEC 27000-series.

Guy Shamilov, CISSP, has a diverse educational background in the field of IT, networking, and information security. In 2015, they attended See Security College and obtained their CISSP certification. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2007, they attended Hi-Tech College, where they focused on IT, networking, and information security. Guy also completed their high school education at Holtz High School in Tel-Aviv, Israel, from 1997 to 2000, and at Kugel High School in Holon from 1995 to 1997.

In addition to their education, Guy Shamilov has obtained several certifications. In February 2016, they earned the CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification from (ISC)². Guy also obtained the MCSE: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert certification from Microsoft in December 2005.
