Jasmine Keys has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Staff Writer position at Michigan Times in 2008. Jasmine then held a Circulation Student role at F.W. Thompson Library in the same year, where they handled customer service and clerical duties, as well as processing and organizing materials. In 2013, they worked as an Economic Development Intern at the Flint and Genesee Chamber of Commerce, and also held roles as a Processing Clerk and Infotainment Tester at Reliance One, Inc. In 2014, they were a Substitute Teacher at PESG, and from 2015 to 2020, they worked at PGK Engineering as a Floor Lead and Processing Clerk. In 2020, they worked as an IT Warehouse Supervisor at Penske Logistics, and currently holds positions as a Service Desk Agent at CareTech Solutions and an Information Technology Support Specialist at Vartek Services.

Jasmine Keys attended the University of Michigan from 2008 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design and Computer Science. In 2020, they returned to the University of Michigan to pursue a degree in Cyber Security, which they are expected to complete in 2021. In addition to their degree, Jasmine has obtained 12 certifications from the Nexus at University of Michigan Engineering, ranging from Cyber Infrastructure and Technology to Python for Security. Jasmine also holds a Grow with Google Challenge Scholarship from Udacity, obtained in 2018.
