Carlos García

Carlos García serves as the Vice President of Operations for Technology and Human Resources at Vassar College, where responsibilities include overseeing operations and strategy for technology, human resources, and institutional equity. Previously, Carlos held multiple leadership positions at New York University, including Vice President and Chief Information Officer, where significant contributions included leading technology initiatives and improving data security across the institution. Notable achievements at NYU involved establishing a Program Management Office, modernizing security video systems, and transforming IT service delivery for global campuses. Carlos holds an MBA in Economics and Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Cinema and Computer Science from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, respectively.
