Hannah Elisabeth Gaff

Hannah Elisabeth Gaff is a dynamic professional in the field of performing arts, currently serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Acting at Vassar College since July 2023. With extensive experience as the Clown and Program Director for the Medical Clown Project and a Clown and Teaching Artist for CLOWNS WITHOUT BORDERS USA, Hannah has a strong background in physical theatre and clowning. As a core member of UpLift Physical Theatre, Hannah also holds the roles of Managing Director and core ensemble member, alongside experience as a Teaching Artist with HANDSFUL PLAYERS. Notable accomplishments include serving as a Fulbright Scholar at the Egyptian Academy of Arts, where a project focused on using devised theatre for community transformation was conducted. Hannah's educational background includes an MFA in Ensemble Based Physical Theatre from Dell'Arte International School and a BA in Theatre and Classical Traditions from Grand Valley State University.
