Peejush Pani

Peejush Pani is a Project Manager at Vassar Labs since November 2022, possessing a robust background in remote sensing and geospatial modeling. Prior to this, Peejush served as a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences from August 2017 to 2022 and as a Remote Sensing Specialist at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) from March 2015 to August 2017, focusing on flood and drought monitoring in Asia and Africa. Experience also includes roles as a Lecturer at Haryana Space Applications Centre, Senior Researcher at the India Meteorological Department, and Junior Researcher at the Department of Forestry and Wildlife at Guru Ghasidas University. Peejush holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Remote Sensing from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a Master of Technology in Remote Sensing & GIS from Birla Institute of Technology, and a Master's in Geography with a specialization in Climatology from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
