Alex Hudson

Alex Hudson serves as the Chief Technology Officer at VAST, focusing on the construction of the world's first commercial space station. Prior to this role, Alex held various leadership positions at SpaceX, where responsibilities included serving as Vice President and Managing Director of Avionics, leading a talented team in developing reliable electronics for spaceflight. Alex also contributed to Rigetti Quantum Computing as VP of Engineering, nurturing a successful quantum computing startup. Earlier experiences include senior roles at Filtec, Rapiscan Systems, Varian Inc., and Quantum Magnetics, ranging from new product development to technical project management. Alex holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering Physics/MRI Imaging from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Bristol.
