Qi Shao

Qi Shao has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Starting in 2012, Qi worked at Intel Corporation as a PPED Intern. Qi then joined LSI, an Avago Technologies Company, as an SSD Emulation Engineer in 2014. Following that, Qi worked at Seagate Technology as an SSD Emulation / FW Validation Engineer, where they were responsible for developing diagnostic firmware programming and testing hardware blocks for SSD controllers. In 2016, Qi joined AMD as a Senior Silicon Design Engineer, focusing on post-silicon GPU performance verification and developing software and tools for testing and analyzing GPU products. Qi held various roles at AMD, including Senior Member Of Technical Staff Silicon Design Engineer and Member Of Technical Staff Silicon Design Engineer. Qi's most recent position was at Vastai Technologies, where they served as the GPU Perf&Infra Team Lead and Manager starting in 2021.

Qi Shao completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. They pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
