Chris Owens

Chris Owens has over a decade of experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Chris has worked in companies like Vatica Health, CIT, NetHealth Systems, Inc., Aetna Life Insurance Company, and Ja. Their roles have included Director of Software Engineering, Manager of Software Engineering, VP Enterprise Software Architecture, Team Lead, and Senior Application Developer. Chris has led cross-functional development teams, managed direct developer reports, designed and implemented architectural approaches for new features, and provided leadership and guidance to junior developers. Chris has also been involved in evaluating new technologies, shaping development standards, and architecting custom solutions for various healthcare and enterprise-level projects.

Chris Owens completed an Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology from ITT Technical Institute-Jacksonville in 1999-2001. Subsequently, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix from 2003-2005. In 2007, Chris also acquired a certification as a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer from Microsoft.
