José Alejandro Rivas Shappiro

José Alejandro Rivas Shappiro has worked as a Software Developer | DevOps at Vatrox since February 2021. Prior to that, from April 2015 to January 2021, they were an Integration Engineer at Mijao, where they were responsible for developing API REST, API SOAP, and web applications using various technologies such as WSO2 EI, Node.js, Mule ESB, WSO2 DSS, and Apache CXF. José Alejandro also worked as a Fullstack Developer at ARKITECK from February 2018 to August 2018.

José Alejandro Rivas Shappiro attended the Universidad Central de Venezuela from 2007 to 2014, where they earned a Licenciatura degree in the field of Computación.

In addition to their formal education, José has obtained several certifications. In May 2017, they became a MuleSoft Certified Developer. Continuing their professional development, they completed the course "MongooseJS Essentials - Learn MongoDB for Node.js" in May 2017. In July 2017, they completed the "Spring Framework Master Class - Learn Spring the Modern Way!" course. Later in November 2017, they obtained the certification for "Introducing Spring Boot". In October 2017, they completed the course "Learn Java Unit Testing with JUnit 5 in 20 Steps". José then pursued further knowledge in microservices, completing the course "Master Microservices with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud" in July 2019. José Alejandro went on to expand their skills in containerization and orchestration by completing "Docker and Kubernetes: The Complete Guide" in December 2019. Most recently, in June 2020, they obtained the certification for "Node JS: Advanced Concepts". José's additional certifications demonstrate their commitment to staying current in the field of computer science and expanding their skill set.
