Jorrit de Vries

Jorrit de Vries is an experienced Lead Data Engineer at Vattenfall since February 2022, with a prior tenure at Atos as both Data Engineer and Solution Lead from September 2018 to February 2022. Jorrit holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Groningen. In addition to professional experience, Jorrit served as Chairman of Young KIVI Engineers and contributed as a board member for Medical Technology and Young KIVI Engineers at KIVI. Early academic involvement includes research on medical devices and various committee roles at the University of Groningen, focusing on curriculum development and regulation assessments. Jorrit began a career in data analysis and machine learning during a Master's thesis at Bielefeld University, aiming to enhance pattern recognition in myoelectric prostheses.
