Marjolijn Katerberg

Project Developer Batteries at Vattenfall

Marjolijn Katerberg is currently a Project Developer for Batteries and Hydrogen at Vattenfall since May 2023 and is also a trainee at Talent voor Transitie since September 2021, which focuses on personal and professional development within the energy transition sector. Previous experience includes serving as a System Design Engineer at Firan from June 2022 to May 2023 and as a Policy Officer for the Energy System at Provincie Zuid-Holland from September 2021 to May 2022, where Marjolijn worked on energy infrastructure policy and research to enhance system flexibility. Marjolijn's research background includes a role as a Researcher at the University of Twente, focusing on electrochemical processes, and an internship at Holst Centre investigating lithium metal anodes. Marjolijn holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master's in Sustainable Energy Technology from the University of Twente, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
