Sarah Firouzianbandpey

Sarah Firouzianbandpey, PhD, P. Eng. works as a Lead Geotechnical Engineer at Vattenfall since March 2020. Prior to this role, Sarah was a Geotechnical Engineer at Universal Foundation A/S and a Post doc at Aalborg Universitet. Sarah has expertise in in-situ and laboratory soil investigation techniques, soil data interpretation for geotechnical design, and designing shallow and deep foundations. Sarah has also worked on reliability-based design of wind turbine foundations and geotechnical site assessment during their PHD fellowship at Aalborg University. Additionally, Sarah has experience as a Consultant Engineer at Khak Pey Azma where Sarah approved geotechnical designs, reported on shallow and deep foundations, and assessed liquefaction hazard.
