Selene Molina Blanco

Selene Molina Blanco is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as Head of Engineering at Vattenfall since February 2019. In this role, Selene is responsible for the concept and detailed engineering delivery of a low carbon heat network for a large-scale project in London. Previous roles at Vattenfall include Lead Engineering Manager and Project Development Engineer, where Selene developed low carbon solutions for district heating schemes and engaged with clients to demonstrate technical expertise. Prior to Vattenfall, Selene worked as Design & Solutions Manager at SSE Enterprise Utilities, leading a team of mechanical design engineers, and as a Mechanical & Process Engineer at Abengoa, focusing on solar thermal and cogeneration plants. Educationally, Selene holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Sevilla and a Master of Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
