Richard Hay

Richard Hay is a seasoned mining industry professional with extensive experience in executive leadership, project management, and operational oversight. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Red 5 Limited since October 2022, Richard has also held significant roles including Mining Consultant at Hikurangi Mining Services and Managing Director & CEO at Gascoyne Resources Ltd. Previously, Richard played key leadership roles at Evolution Mining and held multiple executive positions at Dampier Gold, managing all executive functions for ASX-listed junior mineral resources companies. Richard's career began at Barrick Gold Corporation, where a range of titles were held, including General Manager. Richard holds a Master of Science (Hons) in Geology from the University of Otago and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from The University of Auckland.
