Who are we looking for?
An amazing Rust engineer (m/f/x) who is ready to create new technologies from scratch. As part of our Integrations team, you will work on Vaultree's internal tools and libraries, transforming theoretical research into reality and enabling our product teams to build customer-facing solutions.
You will:
Work on parsing, semantic analysis and transpilation of different SQL dialects
Design and develop performant and secure database-related solutions (e.g. drivers, user defined functions)
Translate cryptographic research into production-grade code
Develop and improve technological standards, tooling, and processes across the company
Collaborate with both our product teams and the research team, being a bridge between the two
Innovate and develop top-notch security products with reliability, security, availability and efficiency goals in mind
You're perfect for this role if you:
Have strong commercial proficiency in Rust (preferable) and/or at least 3 years of experience with other systems programming languages
Have experience working for a startup
Have experience designing and implementing parsers and/or compilers
Have experience with relational or non-relational databases and their supported query languages (preferably PostgreSQL and/or BigQuery), and have basic knowledge of database internals
Possess strong computer science fundamentals, understanding tradeoffs between different data structures and common algorithms
Understand basic cryptography concepts and encryption algorithms
Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team of bright people striving to make the world a safer place
