Michael Pound

Michael Pound is an experienced operations leader with a strong background in managing manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and financial performance across various industries. Currently serving as Plant Manager at Vaupell since August 2022, Michael has previously held significant roles at Safran from 2005 to 2022, including Vice President & General Manager, where responsibilities encompassed driving operations across multiple locations with full $80M P&L accountability. Earlier experience at Starbucks Coffee Company involved roles as Production Manager and Quality Manager, contributing to the development of a quality assurance program and overseeing substantial budgets and teams. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology from Washington State University.
