Earlier in the career, Sassan held positions at Nexmo (now Vonage) in Product Marketing and Developer Relations and at Microsoft, directing partner sales and product strategy. Sassan holds an MBA in Marketing and Management Strategy from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Political Science from the University of Illinois Chicago.
