Andrew Maddox

Andrew Maddox is an experienced sports journalist specializing in football, currently serving as an Academy Reporter for Walsall Football Club Limited since August 2021, where responsibilities include writing match reports for U18 home matches and interviewing the academy manager. Additionally, since February 2020, Andrew has contributed as a writer for VAVEL.com, focusing on Women’s Football and the Aston Villa men's team. Prior experience includes serving as Public Relations Manager for Holbrook Sports FC, a role that involved travel with the team and match reporting, and as a Match Reporter for Mickelover Sports FC. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Football Journalism from the University of Derby, completing the program in June 2022.
