Dishant Vandra

Dishant Vandra is currently a Physical Therapy Aide at Rehab United, ensuring effective patient care and guiding rehabilitation progress. In the role of President at VAW Global Health Alliances, Dishant directed a $50,000 fundraising initiative aimed at enhancing healthcare access in LMIC communities. As a Medical Outreach Intern, Dishant was one of 25 selected interns focused on improving healthcare access in underserved areas. In parallel, Dishant serves as a Volunteer with FLYING SAMARITANS, coordinating medications for patients in Tijuana. As a Research Scholar at SDSU Research Foundation, Dishant is involved in a prestigious professional development program in biotech research. Additionally, Dishant contributes as a Research Assistant, investigating cancer progression and therapy resistance, and previously interned at SDSU Adaptive Fitness Clinic, developing exercise programs for clients with disabilities. Dishant’s work history also includes a position as a cashier at Bombay Pizza House and currently pursues studies at San Diego State University.
