Richard Chen

Richard Chen (RC) has extensive experience in sales and management. From 2004 to 2011, they worked at Vaxcel International LTD, starting as the VP of Sales and later becoming the EVP of Sales. In these roles, they played a crucial role in account management, product development, and expanding the company's customer base. Richard successfully presented over 200 new products per year to mass merchant retail channels and opened two of the top five importers in the world. Additionally, they traveled extensively, meeting with lighting showroom and electrical supply owners across 40 states to resolve issues and grow the business.

Simultaneously, from 2008 onwards, RC also had a role at Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago. Richard initially served as a Condominium Hotel Unit Owner and later became the Director and Secretary of the Board. As an owner, they actively participated in board meetings, formed an owners association, and successfully advocated for operational changes in hotel management.

Richard Chen (RC) has a strong educational background. Richard obtained a BA in Mathematics- Stephen Hawking Chair from the University of Cambridge in 2001. Prior to that, they completed an MA in History from Brown University between 1998 and 2000. Richard Chen also holds a BA in English Literature from Northwestern University, which they completed from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in financial accounting and accounting essentials from edX in 2023 and 2022, respectively.
