Kevin Baek

Kevin Baek is a seasoned professional in the field of process development and project management, currently serving as a CMC Project Manager at Vaxcyte since September 2023. Previously, Kevin held the position of Process Development Scientist in downstream processes at FibroGen, Inc. from July 2021 to August 2023, and served in various roles at Bayer, including Senior Associate and Associate Process Development Scientist. Kevin's experience also includes positions as a Research Associate at Caribou Biosciences and as an Associate Scientist in downstream process development at Bayer. Earlier career roles include a Campus Liaison and Process Engineering Intern at Genentech, and an Undergraduate Researcher at the Center for Environmental Research and Technology. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Biochemistry from the University of California, Riverside.
