Nickolas Hartman has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering and medical fields since 2016. In 2019, they began their current position as a Senior Engineer at Vaxess Technologies. Prior to this, they held the role of Engineer II and Engineer I at the same company. In 2018, they were a Marketing Consultant at Synectic Medical Product Development (A MACK Molding Company). In 2017, they were a Process Development Engineering Intern/Consultant at Lyndra Therapeutics. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Researcher at Tufts University, where they developed a biosensor for simple blood alcohol content determination as part of a Master's thesis. Additionally, they had a role in the research and development of a viable brain disease model for Parkinson’s Disease and Alzheimer’s, and assisted in the development of an open-source bioreactor system to improve 3D cell culture.
Nickolas Hartman obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Tufts University between 2015 and 2018. Nickolas then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Tufts University, which they completed in 2020. In 2019, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Tufts University Gordon Institute.
