Michelle Gorrie

Michelle Gorrie has worked at Vaxxas as a Financial Controller since June 2023. Before that, they were a Director of Private, Business and Tax Advisory at Grant Thornton Australia starting from July 2017. Michelle worked in the same company as a Senior Manager from 2000 to 2017.

Michelle Gorrie pursued their Bachelor's degree from CQUniversity from 1995 to 1999, where they studied Accounting and Business/Management. Then, they completed their Post Graduate Studies in Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand between 2001 to 2003. Later, they went on to obtain a certification in Insolvency and Restructuring from ARITA in 2005. Alongside their education, they also became a Chartered Accountant from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
