Christoph Menzel has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Christoph started their career as a Steel Construction worker at HUFI Stahlbau in 2009. In the same year, they also worked as an Instructor and Project Supervisor for Numerical Mathematics at the Technische Universität Berlin until 2015.
In 2010, Menzel joined DLR, where they worked on Propulsion Systems and Noise Prediction until 2011.
From 2016 to 2017, they served as a Mechatronics Engineer EMEA at Local Motors, Inc.
In 2017, they worked as a Software Developer at Ibeo Automotive Systems GmbH for a brief period.
Starting from 2018 until 2022, Menzel worked at Hanseatische Fahrzeug Manufaktur GmbH (HFM) as an EE System and Integration Engineer.
Currently, they are employed as a System Engineer at Vay, starting from February 2022.
Christoph Menzel has a strong educational background, with a focus on engineering and physics. In 2007, they began their studies at Technische Universität Berlin, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Science in 2011. During this time, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, which they completed in 2014.
In 2012, Christoph enrolled in the MSc. program at Technische Universität Berlin, specializing in Engineering Science. Christoph successfully completed this program in 2015, earning their Master of Science degree in Engineering Science.
To further expand their knowledge and experience, Christoph participated in an exchange program at 同济大学 (Tongji University) from 2012 to 2013. Here, they pursued an additional Master of Science degree in Mechanics, complementing their background in engineering and physics.
Seeking to enhance their skills in Machine Learning, Christoph obtained a certification in this field from Stanford University on Coursera in November 2015. This certification demonstrates their dedication to staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and further developing their expertise.
