Michal Lavi, DVM

Michal Lavi, DVM has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical research and veterinary medicine. Michal started their career as a Veterinarian at "Animal" Medical Centers in 2008, where they worked until 2012. After that, they joined PPD as a Clinical Trials professional from 2012 to 2014.

In 2014, Michal joined NovaTrials - CRO as a Clinical Research Associate, where they were responsible for various tasks including monitoring activities, protocol amendments, and EC submissions. Michal also worked with start-up companies and global pharmaceutical companies, which involved direct contact with sponsor representatives.

In 2015, Michal moved to Covance as a CRA, where they gained experience in phase II and III studies in the field of Oncology. Their responsibilities included monitoring activities, preparing sites for sponsor audits, and training site staff. Michal performed both unblinded-CRA tasks and blinded-CRA tasks in different studies during their tenure at Covance.

Currently, Michal is serving as a Clinical Project Manager at Vascular Biogenics Ltd. (also known as VBL Therapeutics), a position they have held since 2016. Further information about their role and responsibilities at the company is not provided.

Michal Lavi, DVM received their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science at Tel Aviv University from 2000 to 2003. In 2011, Michal attended Bio-Medical Collage, "Pharma Job" to study CRA, GCP. Michal also holds the certification of DVM from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
