Nisha D.

Nisha D. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Nisha is currently the Principal and Founder of ND, LLC., a position they have held since 2018. In 2021, they also took on the role of Chief of Staff to the Founder and CEO at vChief - Virtual Chief of Staff Service.

From 2019 to 2021, Nisha worked at Educators for Excellence, first as the Gig VP, People and Equity, and later as the EVP, People & Growth. Prior to that, they served as the Director of People at Away from 2018 to 2019.

Nisha's previous roles include Chief of Staff at Educators for Excellence from 2016 to 2018, Director of Special Projects at The Fund for Public Schools from 2015 to 2016, and various positions at Teach For America, including Director, Regional Talent Recruitment from 2013 to 2015, and Manager, Teacher Leadership Development from 2011 to 2013.

Nisha began their career in education as a 6th Grade Founding Math Teacher & Math Content Lead at Achievement First from 2009 to 2011 and as a 6th Grade Math Teacher/Teach For America Corps Member at CIS 339 from 2007 to 2009.

Nisha D. attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Nisha'smajor focused on the fields of Political/Economic Development of the Global South and Disease/Population.
