Mohamed El Hagry

Mohamed El Hagry has a diverse work experience. Mohamed is currently serving as the Global Director of Engineering at VCloud since March 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded iCommunity in 2016 and also worked as the Co-Founder and Projects Manager at SAND S.A.E. from 2001 to 2022. At SAND S.A.E, Mohamed managed to grow the company from a start-up to an established company, working with prominent clients in Egypt and the Middle East. Mohamed was involved in designing software products, managing the product life cycle, and leading development teams to meet customer needs. Mohamed also worked extensively on various solutions for mobile operators in Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa, delivering projects in multiple countries.

Before their role at SAND S.A.E, they co-founded Ubicall in 2014, where they served as the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer. In this role, Mohamed aimed to reinvent the call center experience by offering a cost-efficient solution to enterprises and improving the end-user experience. Additionally, they founded eMokhalfa in 2012 and previously worked as a software engineer at Ellipsis Digital Systems in the early 2000s.

Mohamed El Hagry obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from The American University in Cairo from 1996 to 2000. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the same institution, completing it between 2012 and 2015.
