Kathryn Perkinson

Kathryn Perkinson is an experienced nursing professional currently serving as the Nursing Director at VCU Pauley Heart Center since November 2011. Prior to this role, Kathryn held the position of Director of Heart and Vascular Nursing at UNC REX Healthcare from September 2018 to March 2024. Kathryn's earlier experience includes serving as Administrator of Emergency Services at Pitt County Memorial Hospital from June 2008 to June 2011, as well as holding the role of VP of Operations at NASH UNC Health Care in 2006 and 2007. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership from East Carolina University (1986-1990) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1975-1979).
