Shannon McKernin

Shannon McKernin, MSHI, currently serves as a Senior Database Reporting Analyst in the Oncology Service Line at VCU Health since July 2023, after previously holding the position of Business Intelligence Analyst in the same department. Prior experience includes roles as Application Coordinator for Government Programs and Ambulatory Issue Resolution at Bon Secours Mercy Health from January 2020 to July 2023. Shannon McKernin contributed to the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) from June 2014 to December 2019, holding positions from Program Associate to Senior Program Coordinator. Additional experience includes serving as a Crochet Instructor at Michaels Stores, Inc. and as an Order Management Specialist at Carahsoft Technology Corp. Shannon McKernin holds a Master's degree in Health Informatics from George Mason University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from James Madison University.
