Lou Vega

Lou Vega is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity with extensive experience as a Senior Security Engineer at VDA Labs, LLC since May 2020. In addition to this role, Lou has dedicated volunteer work with the PTSD Project since 2013, focusing on providing transition assistance and support to veterans experiencing PTSD or TBI. Previous roles include Senior Security Advisor at Soteria, Senior Application Security Engineer at CACI International Inc., and mentor for the CyberPatriot program aimed at inspiring high school students in cybersecurity. Lou has also held positions at companies such as Booz Allen Hamilton and CSSI, Inc. Lou holds a Graduate Certificate in Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking from SANS Technology Institute and a B.S. in Information Technology from Capella University.
