Steve Hoffenberg

Steve Hoffenberg has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Steve began their career in 1990 as a Product Manager at Leaf Imaging (now Mamiya Leaf) and stayed there until 1996. Steve then joined Lyra Research as the Director of the Digital Photography Advisory Service and worked there until 2000. Steve then moved to Sound Vision Inc. in 2000, where they served as the Senior Product Manager/Director until 2003. From 2004 to 2011, Steve worked at Lyra Research (now Photizo Group) as the Director of Consumer Imaging & Consumer Electronics Research. Following this, they worked independently as a Market Researcher, Product Manager, and Consultant from 2011 to 2013. Finally, Steve joined VDC Research in 2013 as the Director of IoT & Embedded Technology, where they currently hold a position.

Steve Hoffenberg studied at the University of Vermont, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Steve then pursued further education at the Rochester Institute of Technology, earning a Master of Science degree in Graphic Arts Publishing/Electronic Publishing. Additionally, they hold a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
