Prof. Christian Fieberg

Course Manager Vdi-fachingenieur BIM at VDI Wissensforum

Prof. Christian Fieberg serves as the Vice Dean of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Environmental and Building Technologies at Westphalian University of Applied Sciences since April 2024. Previously, Fieberg has been a Professor for Building Service Engineering at the same institution since March 2017, specializing in lectures on Air Conditioning and research topics including Thermal Comfort and Building Information Modeling (BIM). Additionally, Fieberg is the Course Manager for the certified BIM course at VDI Wissensforum GmbH and has held various leadership positions in research and development roles at DencoHappel and GEA Air Treatment GmbH, focusing on innovation in HVAC product development. Fieberg's academic journey includes earning a Diplom-Ingenieur from RWTH Aachen University and completing a Ph.D. there.
