Stephen J. Bigelsen

Stephen J. Bigelsen, M.D., is a Board-Certified Allergy, Asthma and Immunology specialist. In his role of Scientific Advisor, he brings a strong background and understanding of the functioning of the immune system in normal and disease states, and familiarity with clinical trial design. Dr. Bigelsen is a cancer survivor and a strong and passionate advocate of innovative cancer treatments.

Dr. Bigelsen specializes in treating allergic respiratory and skin conditions, such as asthma, chronic sinusitis, urticaria and contact dermatitis, as well as, food and environmental allergies. He has been practicing his specialty for over 25 years. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Bigelsen currently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (having held this position since 1999).

Dr. Bigelsen graduated from Cornell University and Chicago Medical School before completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Northwestern University and his fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at UMDNJ (now Rutgers Medical School). He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Association for Clinical Oncology.
