Heather Asher

Heather Asher serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, joining Vecima in April of 2022. As a corporate commercial lawyer, she has nearly 15 years’ experience advising organizations on commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, corporate governance, and enterprise security and risk management.

Heather previously served as Senior Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Concurrent Technology, prior to its acquisition by Vecima in December 2017, and as Senior Associate General Counsel at Global Payments. Heather also served as Executive Director for Ms. JD, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to the success of women in law school and the legal profession.

Heather is a graduate of Howard University and Harvard Law School, where she served as Vice President and Student Attorney for the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau. She is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, Georgia Chapter and was named one of the National Black Lawyers Association’s Top 40 under 40.
