Nupur Nimbekar

Nupur Nimbekar is a Robotics Software Engineer at Vecna Robotics since January 2022, previously serving as a Computer Vision Engineer Intern at Vidalign from July 2021 to January 2022, where Nupur focused on 3D reconstruction and real-time facial landmark detection. Additional experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, where innovative path planning approaches for UV sterilization robots were developed. Nupur has held positions as a Graduate Assistant at the UMD College of Behavioral and Social Sciences and as a Research Assistant at the Usha Mittal Institute of Technology, where work involved designing structures for industrial robots and optimizing swarm calibration. Nupur holds a Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from the Usha Mittal Institute of Technology for Women.
