Amin Ahmad

Amin Ahmad is the Founder and CEO of Vectara, previously known as ZIR AI. As the CTO of Vectara, Amin provides developers with a serverless cloud platform to seamlessly integrate advanced language understanding and generative AI functionality into their products, apps, and internal systems. Prior to starting Vectara, Amin worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Google Research where Amin led the design and development of neural information retrieval systems. With a background in Computer Science and Mathematics from Bowling Green State University, Amin has also worked as an Independent Consultant for various companies such as IBM, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Remote Government Solutions, and more, where Amin was involved in designing and implementing various software solutions.
