Purnawan has been working in the graphic design field since 2019, when they began their role as a Graphic Designer at Envato. In 2020, they switched to a similar role at Shutterstock, and also took on a Service Advisor role at Indomobil KIA. Prior to that, they had been a Service Advisor at Indomobil Nissan since 2013. Most recently, in 2021, they began a new role as a Graphic Designer at Vecteezy.

Purnawan has a Bachelor of Education Automotive from Yogyakarta State University in Automotive Engineering Technology/Technician. They also have four additional certifications: Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator, Developing a Digitally Literate Curriculum, Problem-Based Learning, and Nissan Service Advisor Program, all obtained from Microsoft and Nissan Motor Corporation in 2020 and 2014 respectively.
