Vector Institute
Alexander Ryabchenko is currently a Research Assistant at the Vector Institute, continuing a summer research project, and has held the position since May 2023. Prior to this, Alexander contributed as a Research Intern at the same institute, focusing on Bayes rule from a regret theoretic perspective and sequential anomaly detection under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Roy. At the University of Toronto, since May 2022, Alexander has been involved in research on graphical learning procedures with Dr. Stanislav Volgushev and Dr. Michaël Lalancette. Additional experience includes a role as a Visiting Researcher at Sunnybrook, where Alexander collaborated on a neural network approach for murine vertebral segmentation to enhance image segmentation techniques for cancer and musculoskeletal conditions. Alexander is pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Statistics at the University of Toronto, expected to graduate in June 2025.
