Director, Health AI Implementation at Vector Institute

Azra Dhalla has a diverse and extensive work experience. Azra is currently the Director of Health AI Implementation at the Vector Institute, a position they have held since 2021. Previously, they served as the Business Manager at the Provincial Council for Maternal and Child Health from 2019 to 2021, where they managed organizational business strategy and operations, and collaborated with experts to develop and implement health policies. From 2018 to 2019, Azra worked as a Project Manager at The Hospital for Sick Children's Centre for Global Child Health. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Aga Khan Health Services in Tanzania, including Manager of Strategy and Special Projects and Social Innovation Officer. Azra Dhalla's education history begins with completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at McMaster University from 2003 to 2007. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Health Services Management from McMaster University between 2007 and 2009.
