Zahra Hosseini

Zahra Hosseini is currently serving as a Vector Faculty Affiliate Researcher at Vector Institute since January 2023 and is also pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at York University, where roles include Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant. Previous experience includes research assistant positions at Iran University of Science and Technology, focusing on sub-claim extraction for enhancing fake-news detection, and at the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences. Zahra has contributed as a research intern at the University of Toronto and Tehran Institute for Advanced Studies. Additional experience includes developing a website for a Persian Question Answering Dataset as a back-end developer and working as a self-employed mathematics teacher. Education credentials include a Bachelor's degree from Iran University of Science and Technology and a high school diploma from Farzanegan1 High School.
