Dr Richard J E Taylor

Dr Richard J E Taylor has a diverse work experience in academia and the field of photonics. Dr Richard J E is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Vector Photonics since October 2020. Prior to this, they were a QTEC Fellow at the University of Bristol from March 2020 to October 2020. Dr Richard J E also worked at the University of Glasgow, first as a Research Associate from September 2017 to March 2019, and then as an RAEng Enterprise Fellow from March 2019 to March 2020. During their academic career, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Tokyo from December 2015 to September 2017, and at the University of Sheffield from December 2014 to December 2015.

Dr. Richard J E Taylor completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at The University of Sheffield between the years 2007 and 2010. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in photonics engineering at the same institution, from 2010 to 2011. Dr. Taylor then continued their education at The University of Sheffield, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2011 to 2015.
