Alonso Rivel

Alonso Rivel has worked in the technology field since 2001. In that time, they have held various positions, including Chief Information Officer at Interbus Costa Rica, Lead Programmer at Biotrue Inc., Director of Internet Services at Cherry LAN Systems, Inc., Senior Software Engineer at Internet Brands, and most recently, Tech Lead - Solution Architect and Engineer at Vectorform. At Interbus Costa Rica, Alonso managed all data movement and transformation to design, program, implement and deploy the company's first Operations System. At Biotrue Inc., Alonso was responsible for translating customer requirements into functional software meeting stringent regulatory requirements. At Cherry LAN Systems, Inc., Alonso acted as a Web Application Framework Developer. At Internet Brands, Alonso delivered solutions to assigned tasks related to research & development, web development and processes automation. Finally, at Vectorform, Alonso works with internal and external teams to determine suitable technologies that lead to a solid software architecture and leads development teams to ensure projects have necessary quality processes in place.

Alonso Rivel began their educational journey in 1987, when they enrolled in the Instituto Tecnologico de Costa Rica to pursue a degree in Electronic Engineering. Alonso attended the school until 1991, but did not finish their degree. Additionally, they have obtained a DELF A2 certification from the Alliance Fran\u00e7aise Costa Rica.
