Panagiotis Panagiotopoulos has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. From 2006 to 2007, they were a test-field engineer for 3NET Communications S.A., where they were responsible for usability and testing of various aDSL modems, as well as services installation and maintainance over customers aDSL connections. From 2007 to 2009, they were an IT Administrator for Tsamouris, where they set up three Windows servers and managed the installation and maintenance of Windows machines and Windows Mobile PDAs for more than 40 users. From 2009 to 2011, they worked at both Web SEO Analytics and Mozaik, where they set up two CentOS servers with over 500 public IP addresses and managed the installation, maintenance and general administration of a diverse set up of machines. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Researcher at the University of Athens, where they took part in the team that built a Java application, which focuses on Video-to-Video communication. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Site Reliability Engineer at Skroutz S.A. and from 2016 to 2020, they were a System Administrator at Bright. Since 2020, they have been a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer at Citrix and, as of 2022, they will be a Site Reliability Engineer at Redpanda Data.

Panagiotis Panagiotopoulos obtained a Master's degree in Advanced Informatics Systems from the University of Piraeus between 2011 and 2012. From 2009 to 2010, they studied Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA / ICND 1 & 2) at the Hellenic American Union. Between 2002 and 2008, they studied Telecommunications Science and Technology at the University of Peloponnese. Panagiotis also obtained three certifications from Coursera and MongoDB, Inc. in 2014, including "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python," "M101P: MongoDB for Developers," and "M102: MongoDB for DBAs."
