Merel Kessler

Merel Kessler is a Technician in Assay Development at VectorY since January 2022, responsible for the development and execution of molecular, analytical, and (pre)clinical assays. Prior to this role, Merel completed an internship in Global Poultry R&D at MSD Animal Health Nederland, focusing on the development of an antibody ELISA and virus neutralization assay for vaccine testing. Merel obtained a Master of Science in Medical Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Wageningen University & Research, along with conducting master and bachelor theses in virology and nematology, respectively. Educational background includes studies at Vrije Hogeschool and JenaXL Zwolle.
