Melissa Demos

Melissa Demos has extensive experience in the banking industry, with a focus on credit administration and risk management. Melissa began their career at U.S. Bank as a Vice President in Commercial Lending from 1997 to 2001. Melissa then joined BBVA Compass as a Credit Administrator, where they implemented a new risk grading program and reviewed appraisals for compliance. In 2005, they moved to VectraBank Colorado, a subsidiary of Zions Bancorporation, as a Senior Credit Administrator and later became the Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer, overseeing the credit function and serving as Chairman of the senior loan committee and Credit Administration Committee. Most recently, they joined Zions Bancorporation as the Senior State Credit Administrator and EVP for the Vectra Affiliate serving Colorado and New Mexico, managing credit approvals and portfolio quality for a $3 billion loan portfolio and leading a team of three direct reports and six support staff.

Melissa Demos attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 1976 to 1980. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Finance.
