Andrew Danhauer

Andrew Danhauer is an experienced electrical engineer with a diverse background in high voltage and electrical distribution engineering. Currently serving as an Electric Staff Engineer at CenterPoint Energy since June 2023, Andrew manages high voltage projects ranging from 69kV to 345kV, overseeing various services including surveying and environmental permitting. Prior to this role, Andrew spent over 16 years at Vectren Corporation as a Lead Electrical Distribution Engineer, focusing on design and development of capital distribution projects at 12.4kV and below. Earlier experience includes work as an Electrical Engineer II at PPG Industries, developing control systems and programming PLCs, and serving as an Avionics Technician in the United States Marine Corps, where technical skills were honed in troubleshooting and repair. Andrew holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering from the University of Southern Indiana.
